On this episode of The DiscipleMakers Podcast, we had a conversation with Jillian Watkins about mental health. Jillian is a Licensed Social Worker and has thought a lot about this topic as she's worked in the social work field. In our conversation we touched on topics like mental health in the Bible, growing in assessing our emotions, and self-care. We also touched on particular applications for the coronavirus season we find ourselves in. -- Resources from this episode:  NAMI Covid Resource GuideCrisis Text Line - Text "Home" to 741741PA Statewide COVID Support Hotline - Call 1-855-284-2494Feelings Wheel: A visual to help name emotions as we work to increase self-awareness.Coronavirus Anxiety: Coping with Stress, Fear, and WorryFear Is Not Sin (Preview of CCEF Article)Deep Breathing ExercisesLockdown ProductivityRemember that if you are a DiscipleMakers student who would like to be trained as a laborer in Christ’s harvest fields this summer, we invite you to sign up for the Summer Discipleship Challenge!
